As you already know that the app is not supporting all type of file for translation, Therefore the app custom file picker is showing the supported files only to prevent the user from selecting other files.
We have received some suggestions
from users to add the ability of using their preferred file picker Whether it’s
the default device file picker or an installed one on the device. As we believe
in flexibility of use and user experience enhancement we provide the option to
the users to choose what file picker they want to use. Keeping the default is
the app custom made file picker.
Some users prefer to
pick the file via the default file picker of their devices without installing any
file picker.
Some users prefer to install a file manager app to their devices to be replaced by the default file picker of the device.
